Garage Sale is a theatre thing. we create strange and surprising event theater out of the discarded, the overlooked, and the almost-forgotten—remixing found plays, presenting gestural first looks, and making new works with upcycled materials and ideas. We believe in finding the beauty of patina and thrift-shop ingenuity. We trade polish for play, cultivate community through salons, zines, and living room readings, and invest in artists at the very beginning of their projects. Part nomadic bazaar, part intellectual flea market, Garage Sale thrives on scrappy invention, microgrants, and mutual support—making theater that is human, sexy, sustainable, and just a little bit stupid.
